Sobre mí / About me

Soy Miss What If, una española expatriada en los Países Bajos. Tengo 25 años. Me gradué en Lengua Inglesa y Cultura y estoy a punto de terminar mi Master sobre lenguaje y medios de comunicación en la sociedad. Me gustaría llegar a ser escritora algún día, quiero decir, me gustaría poder vivir de una de mis pasiones. 

Me gusta dar paseos, perderme en tiendas de segunda mano, las manualidades, la gente creativa, tocar la guitarra y el ukulele, cantar, bailar, customizar ropa aunque sólo sea para ponérmela una vez, la fotografía, navegar de un vídeo a otro en Youtube para descubrir nuevos grupos y canciones que me llenen, tampoco digo que no a una buena fiesta o a una noche de cervezas con los amigos.

A pesar de su imperfección, amo la vida con sus trivialidades y extravagancias sobretodo. Soy una hortera redomada y orgullosa, me gustan las cosas y la gente rara. Soy bastante absurda y "awkward", no hay palabra española que tenga ése matiz. Presto mucha atención a los detalles y son las pequeñas cosas que todo el mundo pasa por alto las que más disfruto. Mi cabeza es un batiburrillo de ideas y tonterías. 

Me gustan las palabras, escribir. También lo que son más que palabras. Me gusta mi libertad. Me abro fácilmente a posibilidades, ideas, estupideces, retos... Me gusta moder, las velas, el incienso, los perfumes, los libros antiguos, las boinas, las diademas, los colores pastel, las fotografías antiguas, los batidos de frutas y otras cosas de la misma simpleza maravillosa.

I am Miss What If, an spanish girl living in The Netherlands. I'm 25 years old. I graduated in English Linguistics and Culture and I'm about to finish my Masters about Media, Language and Performance. I would like to become a writer one day, I mean, I would like to be able to make a living of one of my passions.

I love to walk around, to get lost in second hand shops, crafts, creative people, playing guitar and ukulele while singing, dancing, customize clothes even if it's just to wear it once, photography, discover nice bands in Youtube. I would never say no to a good party or a night drinking beer with my friends. 

Despite of its imperfection I love life, all its trivialities and its oddness. I'm so tacky and proud of it, I like weird people and things. I'm quite absurd and awkward. I pay a lot of attention to details and things people tend to forget about. Those are the things I enjoy the most. My head is a mishmash of ideas and nonsenses. 

I love words, writing and more than words. I love my freedom. I'm open to posibilities, ideas, stupidity, challenges... I like to bite, candles, incense, perfumes, old books, berets, headbands, pastel colours, old photographs, fruit smoothies and many other simple and wonderful things.
